Jesses (Ethan Hawke), a young writer, reunites with Celine (Julie Delpy) at a book launch in Paris. Celine, a friend he met nine years ago, is the inspiration for his current book. Due to time constraints, Jesses only has about 20 minutes with Celine before heading to the airport. The two friends talk extensively about work and family.
