The story of Midsommar centers on Dani, who travels with her boyfriend and three friends to the village of Hårga in Sweden. Their trip coincides with the village's midsummer festival. Although they expect to have a fun time together, things soon take an unexpected turn and become far more terrifying than they could have imagined.
