Mortal Kombat: The Hunger Games centers around mixed martial arts fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan), who bears a mysterious black dragon birthmark – the symbol of Mortal Kombat. Cole Young is unaware of the mysterious bloodline flowing through his veins, or why he is being hunted by the assassin Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim). For the safety of his family, Cole, along with a group of recruited warriors, must participate in a bloody battle against enemies from Outworld.
